About us

We're not a big company. But we're really talented, so we don't mind at all being small. Being small has advantages anyway.

Meetings don't last as long and, hey, there are fewer meetings. There is no middle management. Opinions count; politics don't. Creativity is encouraged, and skills develop beyond simple job descriptions into real contributions.

Optimism and energy have defined Canister for over a decade. Our clients rave about speed, attention to details, and of course, enthusiasm. Our clients are those who relish working with a small, personable agency that has been around long enough to really have some experience under their belts.

And though being small has advantages and disadvantages, we long ago agreed to exploit the positive. There's a creative niche we enjoy that works best when we're focused and, to be fair, it's a living. We're not out to change the world, just a small number of companies who really get it.

Our portfolio includes brand, print, interactive, and a lot of international design. We don't do everything, but what we do is great.
